Here are some little pieces of my life that I want to highlight and remember. More importantly, this is where I write about what God is doing in my life; what He's teaching me, how He's challenging me, and how He's proven over and over that He is faithful to His children.
"When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving much advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a gentle and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares."
"Never mistake God's silence for His absence." -my pastor at school, Joe Novenson
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which trancends all understanding will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus." -Philippians 4:6-7
"In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength... the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!" -Isaiah 30:15, 18
